IRG/Commercial, Inc. was established in 1982 by Margaret (Marnie) Connor and has since completed over 300+ real estate transactions valued in excess of $2 Billion Dollars. IRG was founded with a motto of “client service” that has resulted in the growth to a full service commercial brokerage firm. The depth of our real estate acumen is broad and includes not only troubled asset management turnaround but also sales and marketing of the following property types: multi-family, office, retail, land, and residential development. In 1991, the firm began offering a land development consulting for landowners, specifically to insure the prudent stewardship of their land. More importantly, to assure the value remains and is improved through entitlement of the land by remaining abreast of all areas which may impact the future land value of the asset.
IRG/Commercial has been named one of “Central Florida’s Top Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Firms” by The Orlando Business Journal. Marnie has been named one of the “Top Women in Florida Commercial Real Estate” by the Florida Real Estate Journal.

Michael is one of the original founding partners of IRG. Michael is responsible for all financial reporting, record keeping, and accounting for all properties in IRG’s client portfolios. Michael has also developed and designed all of the management software IRG currently utilizes for all clients.

Marnie’s real estate career began in 1970 as a residential agent with a passion for land development. She went on to work for a large multi-family company, New Homes of America, in Manhattan running upwards of 20,000+ units in her East Coast Portfolio.

Somer joined IRG Commercial in August of 1998, under mentorship program. In January of 2002, Somer was promoted to Director of Leasing and Marketing. Michael has deep experience in the REO world, having led development and asset management with what quickly became the nation’s largest REO servicer, managing 25,000+ transactions, approximately $3 billion in gross annual sales revenue. Mike has developed guidelines and implemented procedures to assist institutional single-family rental investors develop their portfolios, as well as individuals. His personal portfolio has included distressed purchases, income properties and Real Estate Technology.
